I have a number of podcasts that I've subscribed to. For this, I have "Sync Podcasts" turned on. However, I occasionally want to manually copy podcasts onto my iPhone - the occasional BBC documentary, for example. I have a number of podcasts that I've subscribed to. For this, I have "Sync Podcasts" turned on.

However, I occasionally want to manually copy podcasts onto my iPhone - the occasional BBC documentary, for example. In this case, I just want to choose which ones, I don't want to add a subscription.

However, I found yesterday that if I do manually copy such a podcast, then later perform a podcast sync, they're deleted.

Any suggestions?
