summons delivery

    if a summons is only delivered 3 days prior to court date in district court is this grounds for the case being struck out

    Where service is affected by personal delivery, the summons must be served at least 7 days before the date fixed for your court case. In the case of registered post, the period is 21 days.

    ok so that is what it states so if a summons is hand delivered 3 days before court date what options does a defendant or solicitor have
