    The Final Rendezvous

The third and final episode of the Dark Rising series will be held at Beeston Village FIBUA on Saturday 16th October.

Senior GDF command has taken the decision to extract from their current position in their strong hold at Russell Park.
The Local commander has tasked his teams to retrieve monitoring equipment that had been placed in the village, making sure no equipment that may be of use to DARK is left behind.
Unfortunately during one of these recovery missions 2 GDF troops were separated from their team. Outnumbered, outgunned and surrounded they were forced to surrender and are now being held captive by DARK.
Will they be rescued or is it endex for them ?

As normal this will only be open to over 18's and there will be no rental places.

The cost for the event will be £40.

Booking will not open until 12:00 Wednesday 15th September.

To book and confirm your place, payments can be made:
    • By cheque at FRV or posted to 39 Whitla Road, Lisburn, BT28 3PS and made payable to FRV Airsoft.
    • Cash at FRV.
    • Or by paypal to sales@frvairsoft.com, if using paypal please add 4% to cover fees.
Remember to include your name, address, DOB and team preference with your payment.

There are 100 places for this event. They went very quickly last time so if you want a space you will need to book quickly once booking is released. Your place is not secure until you have paid for your place.

    Uniforms
GDF - Green DPM, CADPAT, Flecktarn, US Woodland etc
D.A.R.K. - any style of non-green combats or civilian clothing

    Limit
    100m/s (328fps)

    Arrivals
Players can arrive onsite from 08:30hrs on Saturday 16th October. Make sure you have your photographic ID (Driving licence or Passport) or you will not get access. The guard service on the gate will direct you to where to park while you wait for your escort, you will then be escorted to the village. DO NOT arrive in any sort of military camouflage clothing and keep all military type clothing/equipment covered from view. As anyone who has been watching the news will be aware, there has over the last few months been targeting of security force bases, so do not attract unwanted attention to yourself.

    Marshals, Range staff
Marshals are there for your safety and to keep the game running smoothly for you, so if they do give you instructions please listen to what they have to say and take it on board. As for the range staff, we are going to be on their turf so please show them the same courtesy and obey any instructions they give.
There will be both in-game marshals and hi-vis marshals on site all day, if you have any problems or queries call them, if they don’t know the answer they will try to get back to you ASAP with one. In any disputes the marshal’s word is final, we will make calls as fairly as possible on what we see. If you have a problem with another player and hits let us know with as clear a description as possible and we will watch them.

    Personal Conduct
Remember when you are on site that you are not just there as an individual for a day out, you are also there representing the airsoft community. Please conduct yourself in a way that shows as a community we are sensible, responsible and are worthy of being allowed to return to use these facilities again.
    • If you have any rubbish use the bins provided.
    • Don’t speed when on camp.
    • Although there is no problem when on site with regards to having guns on view and carrying of them when outside the village area, make sure you do not have any magazines attached.
    • Leave the facilities as you find them.

    Refunds
If you need to cancel your place full refunds will only be given up until midnight on Sunday 10th. After that if you pull out you lose your payment.

If players are refused entry by the Guard force, have to be asked to leave for aggressive behaviour towards other players, range staff or marshals, cheating or for using a hot gun they will not receive any refund.

At the previous events there has been no issue with range staff, over aggressiveness, persistent cheating or hot guns and no player has had to be asked to leave. So we would like to think that it will still not be an issue at this event and we can rely on your cooperation to have another successful event and leave being welcome to return and use their facility again.

Pursuant to a bit of research, that's right near Predator, about a two hour drive from Dublin. I'd be up for that alright.

I like the sound of this.
Shane - need a lift up? I reckon I'd have space for one with kit.

I should point out, at previous events here, places have gone extremely quickly.
Anyone that wants to attend this would do well to book literally the instant booking opens ( noon on Wednesday 15th September ).

Oh hell yes please. Nice one. Side preference? We might as well stick together. Looks like many of the locals are going DARK.

Which locals - as in our lot going up or the lads up there?
Hmmm ... would quite like to do some sort of PMC loadout (civilian and/or tan/MC), which would be DARK. But not pushed Shane - have the kit for either. Let's see who else is going and then try to sort it.

Any of you guys think you got on this?

I didn't get back to a computer until an hour and three quarters after tickets went on sale, so I utterly missed it. Dang! They weren't kidding!

Best of luck with it, hope it's a blast.

Same here - couldn't get near a non-work PC (i.e. one that's not connected to every sort of monitoring device known to man) until now - so missed this by a country mile. Hope some of the lads on here are heading up...
