Loose french cuffs

    Is it a bit lame to wear french cuffs loose? I saw someone doing it today with jeans etc and it struck me as looking alright, if not a bit "can't let go of casual" and I know Brad Pitt can be seen doing it in Ocean's 11 (but that man can get away with anything).

    The only time for it is first thing in the morning - on the way home. To be disheveled, cuffs open, tie undone is a great look on the morning commute when everyone else jealously wonders where you have been all night. At any other time it just looks slovernly tbh.

    Why waste a double cuff when you have so many glorious cufflinks to show off? :D

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    I've had a lot of fun looking for cuffs so far, just wondering about alternative ways to wear the shirt (I will not be pairing the shirt with denim at any point I should emphaise).

    I'd either think;

    a) They were on the way home from an event

    b) Their cufflinks got mugged

    c) 'you're doing it wrong'

    But hey - Prove me wrong :)

    It looked a little more like c), but he walked with a confidence that may have been misplaced enough to fool me into thinking it was acceptable.

    By the way, I'm asking this because I have ONE T.M. Lewin dress shirt and I'll have to create an occasion to wear it, so I shouldn't really be pointing any fingers.

    You'll be better using your good shirt to show off a lovely pair of links, and a good tie. Or you could just buy a few more. I wear Lewins for my every-day :)
