    Hi,

I have a job which pays OK but with bills increased taxes I feel like I have less and less money to actually enjoy myself after everything is paid. Looking for suggestions on how to make a few extra bob on the side. I don't need lots, maybe extra 30-50 yoyo a week would help.

    Cheers,
    X

Well there are part-time jobs out there, e.g. http://www.parttimejobs.ie, http://www.gumtree.ie, etc.

Could you set up a website and try to make some money from google adverts? Or maybe write "lifestyle" sort of articles ("how I lived on €50 a week") and submit them to newspapers like the Irish Independent? They love that sort of rubbish!

Another option is to cut your expenditure... you know, find out where you're wasting money (lattes, etc.) and see can you save €30 - €50 a week that way.

Or any chance you'd get a 1-3% payrise or some overtime?

I agree if you haven't already cut spending down to the minimum say on car insurance/food deals etc. then you'll find 30 a week that way.

    Hi
There is always ebay / car booting.
Amazing what you can find in draws and the loft!

Never ceases to surprise me what people buy and how much your junk can be worth to someone else.

    1. Download movies convert them to a dvd and sell on
    2. Collect someones dole while abroad and take your cut
    3. Sell stuff that you robbed on ebay
    4. Get into chipping xbox`s for copied games
    5. Do all DIY work bob a job type thing like cleaning windows etc..
    6. Claim rent allowance from a relatives address
    7. Any savings put them into an interest bearing account (I make a few quid that way)

phfft whats 30 yoyo`s a week going to do for anyone ..

    Sorry mod in advance

eire2009 We do not condone illegal activity here on Boards. Options 1-4 and 6 definitely fall into this category.

On the other hand, option 5 and 7 are good ideas.

I have already cut down my expenses, I take lunch to work with me now instead of buying. Cutting down on entertainment costs as well...

Overtime maybe an option. Payrise? hahahahahaaha I wish :)

I dont want to get a part time job really since that in itself would create expenses, travelling back and forth. Might look at selling some of my old sh*t.
