Does anyone know of a place in Ireland I can donate my hair to? Ive been googling it and can only find places in America and UK.

    Thank you!

I do not know of places but just want to speak as someone who used a wig when I lost my hair due to chemo - it was great at first knowing that I could have some "normal" time and I got married with my wig on. OP, thank you for offering to do it.

Thanks Cathy. I just dont want to see it going to waste, when it could go to a good cause and would prefer if there was somewhere in Ireland I could send it to, if not I will send it to www.littleprincesses.org.uk. Ive just emailed the Irish cancer society, Ill update here when i hear from them!:)

Yeah they're based in New Ross, I can't remember but I have a feeling that's the lady that did my last wig (I have alopecia). I think the hair donation thing is new, well, I only just heard about it on Alopecia Ireland about two weeks ago. You're doing a very good deed, have to say!

Hi her Name is Anna Furlong and she has just started a new organisation called Rapunzel. She would be only too happy to receive a donation of hair. Well done Michelle. Anna Furlongs Salon in New Ross

Thats great Michelle. Thank so much for registering.
We had a support group in Wexford last week and we have decided to call the group the South East Group and have the group in a different country every two months, I have noticed you live in Waterford so it would be great if you could join us next time, the next group will be either in January or February weather prevailing, but will keep you posted on the website,
Thanks and much love Liz :)

    Hi all.
My daughter's about to cut her hair into a bob, which will mean approximately 10 inches of hair is to be chopped and we'd love to donate it.
Couldn't find any newer threads on this so was wondering if there are any newer charities or means by which to do this?
We're based in Waterford if that makes any difference to any suggestions!

I heard singer Harry Styles donated his hair recently, if she is a fan she might want to send to the same place. Seems it was little princess trust mentioned earlier
