Call it Lansdowne Road

    Why is the media and general public calling the new Lansdowne Road the AVIVA?
    Why shoud we pander to an international insurance company's demands that everyone call it after them just because they are the sponsors?
    My hard earned tax went some way towards the construction of the new stadium so why should I and others refer to it as the AVIVA when it was always known as Lansdowne Road?
    Over €150m of taxpayers money in Ireland went towards the new stadium so let's all call it Lansdowne Road and drop this nonsense of calling it the AVIVA.
    Are the sports and news journalists afraid they won't get their prized press tickets if they call it Lansdowne Road?

    I call on all media outlets to STOP referring to it as the AVIVA and instead call it Lansdowne Road.
