U.S. student who electrocuted his nipples sues teacher...for not warning him it was dangerous.

An American student whose heart stopped after he deliberately electrocuted himself in a science class is suing his teacher for not warning him it was dangerous.

Kyle Dubois, 18, is also taking legal action against the school district and the city of Dover in New Hampshire.

Dubois and his parents claim teacher Thomas Kelley did not tell him and other students of the dangers of the demonstration power cords in their electrical trades class.

They are seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost income due to time away from work and other damages related to the incident, which occurred on March 11.

Dubois attached an electrical clamp to one nipple while another student attached another clamp to the other. A third student plugged in the cord.

Dubois was critically injured and his legal team claim he has suffered permanent brain damage.

He was initially taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, where he was diagnosed as having an ‘out of hospital electrocution resulting in cardiac arrest, unresponsive state and respiratory failure,’ according to the lawsuit.

He was later taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where doctors drilled a hole in his skull in order to insert a probe to monitor the pressure on his brain.

Dubois left hospital on March 16.

The lawsuit alleges Mr Kelley knew what his students were doing and claims: ‘One student heard Mr Kelley state that Kyle should try it with his nipples and that he, Mr Kelley, would give him a Mountain Dew if he did so.’

Several students reportedly told police Mr Kelley was involved in the dare, but confusingly, Dubois has since defended his teacher and claimed it was a fellow student who challenged him and offered him the drink.

Mr Kelley resigned about a month after the incident and has declined to comment on the matter.

Police have filed no criminal charges in the investigation. The case is set to return to court on November 2.

    Cretin.

The teacher may not have told this fool but I can pretty much guarantee that this teacher did not witness this idiot attaching terminals to his tits. Any science teacher will tell you that if you are EVER dealing with electrical sources then make sure not to attempt to touch them with both hands, i.e. to create a circuit loop across your chest as it only takes a couple of volts to send the heart into fibrillation. They will tell you to only use your right hand and to make sure your left hand is shoved into your back pocket, that way if the source is live and you get shocked, the current runs through your right arm, down your right side and leg and to earth.....uncomfortable and traumatic but not fatal.

If the teacher had seen this dummy attaching the terminals to his chest he would have roared at him immediately and stopped the idiot from killing himself.

Dared him to do it, my arse! Lying little bastards.

If it ever becomes an Olympic event, Ireland would also have no trouble putting a team together, and the people not selected would sue the organisers for not putting them on the team.

If there was a marathon suing event, we'd excel. Sure every tribunal we have goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and.... you get the idea.

Stovelid that was going to be my joke.

Seriously how fu*king braindead do you need to be to pass electricity across your chest.

Teachers career ruined he resigned and now they're suing him because this kid is mentally challanged.

The parents should sue themselves for making such a creation.

How do you know that the teacher would have roared at him?

The guy is clearly a gobsh1te, no doubt about it but you don't know the teacher. Why did the teacher resign so hastily. Anything coulda went down including the following...

What's the bets the teacher is traumatised by the incident, had to give up his job and will counter sue for loss of earnings and psychological damage.

And so perpetual cycle of suing and counter-suing shall be formed, in which both parties slowly lose all their money to legal fees! Huzzah!

Darwin Award candidates need to actually remove themselves from the gene pool via stupidity, not just give themselves crusty nips and a drooling problem.

Kind of a shame he didn't pop his clogs, as i imagine the scene in the movie sequel would be awesome.

Give me a few years and he will hopefully attentive it....

Teachers are smart. Students are dumb. Can you imagine a chemistry teacher NOT yelling at a student who was about to try drinking the concentrated hydrochloric acid to see if he could belch bubbles or inhale vast quantites of gas from the bunsen burner to see if he could get a buzz or make his voice squeeky? Electricity is DANGEROUS. Chemical are DANGEROUS. Wood and metal cutting equipment is DANGEROUS. Any teacher qualified to teach subjects involving these things KNOWS they are dangerous and is mindful of these dangers. So, while I wasn't in the classroom with these idiots, I can NOT, for the life of me, bring myself to believe that this teacher would not have roared at the moron for attaching an anode and cathode to his chest or egged him on like some of the students claim.
Why did the teacher resign? I don't know. Science teachers are a soft and gentle bunch. They don't have thick skins like fascist football coaches or psychopathic Latin teachers. Maybe he was urged to resign by the principal. Maybe he's depressed at the allegations that are being levelled against him...who knows?

This could at least be a futre candidate for the real electric shock treatment if its still available

Because he realised everything he'd been teaching was wrong and that we are actually evolving into monkeys...

That case should either be thrown out of court or the parents should be jailed. Who needs a teacher to tell them that electricity can kill you? Sure any child knows that.
Jebus... I'd be in favour of stopping the "Don't jump from balconies" ads and starting a "Crippled or killed when jumping from a balcony? What did you think would frakking happen, you moron?" ad campaign. Let these idiots kill themselves off, and the world will be a better place.
