Where to buy my alloys?

Hey guys looking for some advice here on the best/cheapest place to buy a set of alloys.

Im looking for a set of 15" alloys for my 03 Toyota Corolla. Need to get them asap as my ncts overdue and I dont want to waste money on new tyres for the steel wheels. Not lokoking for anything too fancy, currently have my eyes on the Wolfrace Triad or Dare V2 which look pretty much the same to me!? Doesnt have to be them though, if theres something cheaper i'd proberbly go for it.

The three sites im looking at are East Coast Alloys, Alloy Wheels NI and WheelBase. Anyone have any experience with any of these three? Good or bad?

Alloywheelsni.com have the Wolfrace alloys as £240 (ex vat)

East coast alloys quoted me 365e for these

Finally, Wheelbase seem to be the cheepest, quoting me 307 EURO for the wolfrace including delivery. Seems pretty good although if you include standard AUTOGRIP tyres in the package it goes up by 223e which seems a lot?

Anyway thanks in advance for any comments/advice! :D

    Noel

I would check Callaghan tyre centre in Donegal before you decided on alloys. They have a good selection with decent prices. To be honest I would personally keep away from wolfrace alloys as everybody knows there one of the cheapest brands and most common alloys you can get!

Thanks i'll look them up! Ha your turning me off the wolfrace now!

Any suggestions then of something that would suit my car (see attachment) within a simular budget (€300-€400)?
    Opinions on these or BK550?

Last thing I want is something OTT that doesnt suit the car but its hard to know what will suit!

Ya, buying alloys off the internet is quite stressfull. I think your corolla is a 4 stud wheel which means only a 4 stud or multistud suited for a 4 stud alloy will fit it. Its easy to pick nice alloys off the internet, but weather they fit your car or not is hard to know. Most japanese 4 stud alloys, eg Honda, Toyota will fit eachother whereas 4 stud french alloys, eg Peugeot, Renault will not fit your japanese car...I know people who have bought alloys off the internet that dont fit there car. Your best option is to ring Callaghan's and ask for there opinion (thats what i did) or visit them yourself...I had these alloys with tyres delivered to my house for €400, theyre 15inch and theyre for a 2000 corolla, i presume they would fit yours (alloys in attachments)

just found this car identical to yours, with my alloys....http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/1507958

Autogrip tyres, wouldn't get them anyway to be honest.

Stressfull is right! And driving around with no NCT or tax (still waiting on log book) doesnt help! Yeah mines 4x100 I think, most sites Ive been on let you enter your make, model & year and then show you all the suitable alloys.

Yeah think i'll give Callaghan's a call, you did fairly well with alloys & tyres at only €400! Were they brand new or part worn?

Whys that....just not great quality? Dont suppose "enduro" tyres are much better?

Yeah brand new alloys, i asked them about alloys and they sent me a picture message of alloys that would suit me. I would strongly reccomend buying off them rather than the internet!
