    Hey.

Transferring into 2nd year History and History of Art (joint) this year and just wondering what modules I will be doing so I can start revising.
Since I didn't do first year in UCC, should I try and get the notes from that year or will I be fine starting new?

There's a wide choice of options to choose from, telling you what to revise is going to be incredibly difficult. 2nd year is unlike 1st year where you had little choice. This year you can 'customize' your year by choosing different modules. Have a look at some on offer: here or the UCC history website. (Note: Module code HI2--- signifies 2nd year) You take two options from the module list. The site also gives you a run through of the year.

I think you'll be fine starting anew. It'd be handy having the base knowledge from 1st year but in 2nd, many of the courses are different and unique, you'll learn most things from scratch.

Any specific questions about history, feel free to ask. I wouldn't know about History of Art - someone else on the forum will probably reply about that.
