Alone in the Dark!

    Anyone else scared of the dark?
    I find my self absolutely terrified of the dark. If i'm alone in the home, I can't go to sleep with the lights off. I feel some monster is going to leap out the wall or window or somewhere and I don't know hit me or something...

    It feels totally irrational as I know there's nothing there but still I find totally incapacitated in darkness and I'll actually start to panic and freak out. Its a proper phobia. I feel there's some 'force' behind be and its coming to consume me...

    Though funny thing is as I like exploring places, if I'm with someone, I could venture into the creepiest of places as long as i'm not alone and I have someone to grab onto! Infact I'ld be among the first ones to venture into such places (just don't leave me alone or else I might commit suicide!!).

    But I can't even imagine being alone anywhere in the dark, even my own home!!
