I just got braces fitted 2 weeks ago and its been fine generally although I have noticed that one of my very front teeth feels weak which is worrying me, what could this be?

From my experience of braces (was told they'd be on for one year, eventually were off after three), this sounds normal. I think you mean "loose" perhaps or sensitive rather than "weak"? Remember your teeth are being gradually guided into different positions, this is why it hurts like hell for the first few weeks and after every adjustment. That is when the real work takes place. The bulk of the time in between each adjustment is allowing the teeth to settle in their new position before moving them on again. Certainly my teeth felt loose and as if something was wrong for many a week after first getting them on! Talk to your orthodontist if still worried, they are used to every type of worry!
