    I would be very inclined to say it's too good to be true. Furthermore, you'll likely get stung by customs if you try to import an iPhone by post.

    Apple sell SIM-unlocked units in Ireland, for €599.

    If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

    Suspected as much, ah well just have to pay up and look pleasent as usual.
    "Snappy T" €599.00 from the ROI Apple Store!! At todays rate (£492.97) that actually works out slightly cheaper than the £499.00 sterling up here in Nordy land. Now thats a bit of a turnaround. I'm tempted to go for the Tesco Mobile deal though, prices just the same as O2 but Tesco give more minutes and twice the data for the same tarrif.
