I'll be definitely be heading up to Galway from Mayo on the eleventh for student orientation and induction, but do I have to head up for twelfth?

Can I skip out on the second day to avoid complications with the accomadation I have sorted out?

You don't have to go and accommodation definitely outranks it so I say skip it and sort out your living arrangements.
