    Hi Guys

I am looking for advice on a new home. I am about to wire for the oil heating system in the house and was thinkinh of running all control cables ie stats, timeclock, power etc all back to the hot press. Is this whats normally done?

Also any advice on where to put rads etc

    Cheers

Yes, its a good idea to pull the cable in, speak to you plumber and ask where he intends to fit the controller, stats, junction box etc. Also use cable with more wire than the controls need to future proof the system, eg. boiler will require 4 core so permanent live can be available to frost stat so consider a 5 core or pull through a spare cable as a future upgrade might have more complex controls.:D
