    Should i do the test in a manual or automatic, i cant imagine many buses/coachs with manual gears

    Would any schools still have these ?

    Try you best to do it in a manual. If you pass in an Automatic you're restricted to Automatic. Pass in a Manual and you can drive both.

    Do buses have straight 6 gearboxes or are they like a truck i.e. Rangchange?
    Couldn't imagine it being too difficult to learn how to drive a straight 6 Bus when compared to the ole rangechange.:confused::confused:

    Usually a straight six (and some will also have a two speed axle but I'm not too familiar with that). I don't ever recall seeing a range change gearbox in a bus.

    Autos tend to have a lot more gears (8 - 12) but some are skipped. An auto may take off in 3rd, then go to 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th 10th etc.
