In my local tesco they are mispricing the really good quality meats when they add them to the reduced section.Rather than lowering the price of meat they are accidently lowering the price per kilo.I got a fillet steak today for 4.47 per kilo instead of 27.50 per kilo.it worked out at something like 98 cent for 2 pefectly good fillet steaks. Now is that a bargin alert?

It's a regular treasure trove, every time I'm down at home my mother is thawing something with a yellow reduced sticker on it for dinner. Great value to be had if you have a freezer especially with the likes of expensive cuts of beef, altually not a fan of fillet stake myself though much prefer a cheaper cut of round stake.

Haha yup it's true but it's luck of the draw...I normally head in at around 7-8pm and get all my meats for the week for about 8 euro lol. Fillet steaks , Chicken Fillets , Sea Bass etc..all going out of date in a day or two but perfect if you freeze them :D
