    Hello All,

I'm hoping there is someone who can help me up in Dublin.

I have a lot of information on my lot in North Co Dublin.......I know the family dates back to a certain property a couple of hundred years.

Where I need assistance is with the Valuation Office ( Valuation Office,Irish Life Centre, Middle Abbey St?)

I need info from the cancellation books following the Griffiths Valuation to show how the property was passed on.

Id really appreciate it if anyone was visiting here .....I cant see me getting there pre Christmas.

I'd be willing to help anyone out in Co Cork in return.

Send a pm on if you can help me out.

    Many thanks.

It might be worth mentioning the townland and electoral district you are interested in, in case they overlap with someone else's research.

It can be quite time consuming following a specific property record as the books are cancelled every 10 years or so, and you then have to search the next volume. Some townlands moved between changing DED boundaries, and therefore volumes, over time also.

Thanks Shane, I'll give all details if and when someone contacts me.

I cant see anyone being connected....the chances of that happening would be slim.

I'm hoping someone might send a pm if they can help me out.

I might just leave it until after Christmas.

    Regards.
