Trinity falls in international rankings

    So, I'm aware that this isn't THE, they get published next week, but the guys that have been doing the ratings for THE, QS published their independent results today.

    Trinity has fallen from 43rd position to 52nd. There seems to be a drop in our ranking for Social Sciences and Natural Science, but an increase for Arts & Humanities, Engineering & IT, and Life Sciences & Biomedicine.

    Shame we'll fallen out of the top 50 bracket. I'm attributing it to them getting word of me leaving college :p

    UCD have dropped out of the top 100 :pac:

    To the credit of the College there has been a massive improvement in the IT and engineering rankings over the last few years. So clearly something is going right there.

    Humanities suffered most under the restructuring and is suffering the worst from the funding shortages as unlike the science departments they can't raise external income with any degree of ease.
