Desperate Dan bars ftw, black lumps of pure sugar embedded in them, awesome sweets.

    Fizz Bombs Anyone?

Fizzle Sticks were one of my faves as a kid, coupled with proper wine gums and white mice. Nyum nyum :pac:

The Soda Stream is etched into my mind as one of the biggest let downs of my childhood.

I can still remember all the hype and adverts for it, and when we finally got one somewhere in the 80's, it was such an anti climax.:(

I know of a shop that has all of those sweets lads - Desperate Dan, Wham, Bruiser, Fruit Salad, Blackjack, Roy of the Rover etc - No Soda Stream though. :D

    Snooker Balls? Like giant Gobstoppers.

They were dogged by rumours that they had once killed a Child.

    - Though this seemed to just massively boost their popularity with the living Children.

Remember the van that used to go around all the housing estates selling big bags of deformed jellies?

Think they used to nick them from some place from by the Cresent Shopping Centre.

I remember a van going around my estate selling toffey apples. Basically a half rotten apple upside down, stuck to a big blob of suggary homemade toffey with a lollypop stick stuck in it.

There used be a Factory towards the rear of Raheen Ind Est. that dumped the malformed Jellies in Wheelie Bins at the back of the Building, I remember being offered a few from a full Quinsworth bag one day

    - Was it something like Topps?
