Problem embedding Youtube vids

    Hey, I've been trying to embed a video from You Tube, but no matter what method I try, I keep just getting big white boxes in my posts. I've tried copying the embed code from You Tube and pasting it between the You Tube tags in the post. I've tried copying the URL, the last part of the URL address, and editing the embed code, but still, all I get is a big white box. Does anybody know where I'm going wrong?
