A friend bought here and was very happy might be worth a look.

His best price is €14,200 with 1 year warranty (not sure if this is for car or just engine & GB) -manufacturers warranty apparently is also still in place).

    Doesn't look too bad IMHO.

We've been getting around €9k trade for 07 Base Passat's with double that mileage so I don't think Fosters will be making a huge amount on that.

Sport has the great seats, but is missing cruise control and auto dimming mirror.

How is that relevant to the thread?

Is high reg# like that might be a UK import? No mention of FSH which I'd expect on that kind of car especially if it's a UK car.

I thought it was highish too, but Dublin went to 86004 in 2007 before imports.

Service history at that mileage should show 2 services.

Bought a Passat from them a few years ago and you cant fault them for service.
They were at the high end of the price scale at the time.
I bought the 08 sport 2.0 last year from the UK and I really like it.(paid 13.9k stg)
I have the dimmed mirror as mentioned earlier and dont really miss the cruise control on Irish roads!
Is 54k miles on a 3year old car particularly 'low'?

Looks Irish to me, km speedo and UK cars seldom had climate unless SEL (our highline).

on that site they have cars with similar spec for less at asking and you say its not relevant :eek::eek:
    Its your money

Of the two mentioned I'd go for whichever one is in the best condition. If they are both similar then I'd go with the Highline because of the higher spec.

If you are open to alternatives then maybe this might be worth looking at:

Decent spec, a year younger and qualifies for €302pa motor tax.
