Mr. A B with an email address of a@b.c should brace himself for a lot of junk mail ;)

Not sure but in the top right it says 'But Remember - No promotional pack means no free curry'.

Right i had a look at all the packs and variations of McCoys today in my local Tesco in Newbridge and none had this offer on them ,some football competition on some but that was all.
Anyone confirm where these promotion packs can be obtained?

According to the mcCoys website it looks like you have to buy one of their Indian flavoured limited edition ranges to get the voucher

Chicken Jalfrezi or Lamb Vindaloo flavours

Have to say the voucher's the only reason I'd buy any of these flavours

Haven't seen them myself yet (but haven't really looked) says in t&c that

"Promotion starts 1st September 2010 and runs until 31st March 2011"

only a guess but if they're hard to find i'm guessin they're prob not in many shops yet as they'll be selling current stock first

They have them in Tuthills newsagents in Leixlip. They also have shops in Liffey Valley and Royal Hibernian Way (the little shopping arcade between Grafton St and Dawson St). I'd imagin you can get them lots of places.

It's not just those odd flavours either - the vouchers are on normal McCoys flavours. Haven't tried to use one yet though.

Here's how this went for us...

We went to Shimla in Clonsilla last night. I phoned in advance to check that the deal was on, and the lad I was talking to seemed to suggest it was, but his English wasn't great, so I wasn't all that confident that he'd understood what I was saying. In any case, I had the voucher, and the restaurant was listed on the site, so I reckoned I was safe enough.

So we went there, ordered two mains, one starter, and a couple of beers, and got tucked in. Must say that the food was top notch.

When we got the bill, I reduced the bill amount by the price of the cheapest main, and gave it to the waiter along with the voucher thing. He didn't seem to know anything about it, so he got a another waiter involved, who also hadn't the first clue what was going on. After a bit they got a manager / senior chap, and he was the same. The three of them were stood there looking at the voucher, and telling us about other offers that they have that only run Monday-Thursday.

So he phoned up his boss, who told him that they were doing it alright. They apologised and that was it. Would've been slightly embarrassing if there had been any other customers at the time, but there wasn't. I reckon we were just the first ones in the door using the thing, that was all.

Like I said though, cracking food.

Same when i mentioned it to my local Indian who are on the offer site they were dumbstruck too
Granted i had no voucher at the time and i was just enquiring about the deal, seems the boss/owner in the UK had gone with the listing but not fully engaged their staff about it.

It will pay to ring ahead and make sure they are doing the offer on the night or even at all .
