    Hi guys just wondering what you think the job prospects are like for teachers with just the one subject?

    Irish!! Certainly Irish. Recite the rosary (with many errors if you wish) within earshot of the principal and you can teach Religion, in my experience. Irish is the one that would get you hired though.

    I'd agree. You don't see too many religion jobs advertised. If you turn up for work in my school, you're qualified to teach religion. :)

    Definitely more jobs for Irish .. do you think in most cases it's better to have two subjects to teach with?

    Yes, more subjects means you can apply for a greater number of jobs and you are generally more employable.
