Battery doctor app........

I've noticed that my battery life on my iphone 4 was'nt as good after I installed and used the "battery doctor" app for charging.

I started using this about a week ago to charge my phone, and last night I decided to charge it without using the app to see if there would be any difference. And I have to say the difference is very noticeable!

I thought the battery doctor charge was meant to prolong the battery life, not make it shorter?

    Anyone else notice this?

I highly doubt that the app will do anything for you, the app is running all the time so of course battery will go down. How much did it cost you?

0.79cent. what you mean its running all the time? I only use it to charge the phone at night...its never even opened up during the day.

And in sbsettings I checked in processes to see if it was running in background but its not!

I'm beginning to think so too! So far I've 75% battery left after 10 hours since I unplugged it from charge(with no battery app)

Whereas before I had only 50% battery left after 10 hours with the battery doctor charge. So my advice to anyone is don't get the stupid app like I did!

On a side not, how come I can't see the usage stats in the settings? Like how many hours use/stanby time since charge etc??

I used to be able to, but not any more :(

The two reviews it quotes in it's description are made up. Yes, they appear on the sites mentioned, but not in a review, in a description of the app taken from the app store.

So, yea, like a whole slew of other apps, it's a rip off.

Not quite right, you can still see after plugged in.
I think the problem here is if you change any setting from sbsetting or install from cydia then it resprings and wipe the usage stats.
