Just looked up the timetable for my course (commerce) and I'm really confused lol!!it says that all students havta go to the subjects in bold which are the core ones so I'm just wondering if the same subject is on more than 1 day e.g. economics is on 3 days is it the same stuff taught each time or different? Like do you havta attend the 3 different classes or just one??

ya.........oh right tanx there just seemed to be a lot more hours than I thought there would be and I was thinking cause theres so many doing the course that they would divide everyone to make 3 classes for some subjects!!

you hardly thought you'd only have 1 class a week in a subject. most subjects have 3-4 lectures a week (yes a week)
you'd be looking at 20+ hours a week at least for most courses for first year

well I was only wonderin cuz some subjects e.g. accounting have "a" and "b" beside them so I thought you would have 2 accounting lectures a week, then spanish has spoken, lab, and just spanish so I thought 3 spanish classes a week...........I didnt think you only had 1 lecture a week in every subjet I just thought you had 1 a week in somesubjects!

Afaik, the Accounting (A) and Accounting (B) would be two separate groups, you'd be assigned to one or the other and you have to go to that lecture(s).
But for the ones like Economics, without "letters" beside them, you will be expected to go to all the lectures.

Be a good girl and go to all your lectures!
Both the A and B ones.
They're very important and interesting after all....

It can depend on the subject, go to the first few and you'll get to know which ones you have to go to and which are catch up ones.
