i am using yahoo mail with xp pro and mozilla. when i open an email with for example a picture attachment jpg or gif whatever i am able to open it fine. but i just would likke to know where this file is stored. presumably it is stored in a temp folder somewhere. this was an easy enough thing in win 95 and 98 but not in this new fangled thing xp. whats going on i know about prefetch are they automatically deleted or even stored there.

i would just like to go to the location of these files and not to have to download them a second or third time. given that i have an o2 connection with a ten gig usage limit. any help would be really liked

    tadhg

If you are actually downloading them then the place they are stored depends on the settings in your browser. Check for default download location in your browsers settings.

If you are only "Viewing" them, then they will be downloaded to your browsers cache. Again it depends on which browser you are using.

    Need more information
