Right click dialogue remains after use.

Small problem but a bit annoying. After I use a right click dialogue a portion of it will remain shadowed on my screen, see screenshot.

It doesn't happen all the time but there is always one present, as in the current one is "Copy" but if I use an "Open With" dialogue that may or may not replace it.

As I said, not a massive issue but a bit annoying. Any ideas?

Updating your display drivers might fix this.

Tried downloading drivers from the Nvidia website but cannot get them to install. Got a dialogue saying that it "couldn't locate any drivers compatible with my current hardware" despite the fact the site specifically said it did.

Device manager reckons they are up to date too. ?

Have a look a this page and in particular try the bit about
"Disabling the Unwanted Visual Effects in Windows 7". This tends to sort out a few silly display issues.

Cheers for the suggestion but I'm using Vista.

Doh! I can never tell them apart.

Okay then just do the equivalent in Vista. The principle is the same - disable all the silly visual effects. Try here.

If it's a laptop you might have to go to the manufacturer's website to get up-to-date drivers for it.
