Corn fritters

    Ok guys ... I have some left over corn on the cobs ... going to make corn fritters

    How would you do it....


    Please don't post American recipes quoting shortening or whatever :)


    I reckon ...... Standard Yorkshire Pud mix ( slightly thicker ) , may add some baking powder as well ( and of course mix in the corn )

    Then fry ?

    I don't have a d/f fryer , so these will be shallow fried
