Car for 1.5-2k?

I ended up buying an almera the last time for my money however i never really liked it (never really liked the look of it).

Just looking for suggestions for decent motors for around the above amount of money.

Had my eye on a civic online however any help would be great. Gonna try keep it petrol though.

Here's one here. If your handy with a few tools and replace
the wing. Not a big job. Jap cars are get to work on i find.
Get the wing throwin in with the price.

My own choice for would be a nice 90's Jap import standard 2 door Starlet(thats if you can find one). Great little cars.

I actually read his thread i think that guys ex kicked that dent in the side of the car Poor guy.

thats a classy motor though i think being a 24 yo male i'd be laughed out of my insurance providers office... lovely car though.
