UPS iPhone collection

    Hi there, quick question,

    I ordered a service of my iPhone on Friday, received an email telling me it would be collected "one business day from the day the repair was requested". Originally thought this would be yesterday but nobody arrived so just wondering if anyone has any experience with getting their Apple products picked up by UPS and when it happened after they ordered the service, thanks!

    Should be day after request. Ring Apple and get them to check or ask them for the UPS Airwaybill so you can check it.

    Had to ring a second time myself when my first 3Gs died after 3 weeks. Guy in Apple support said it was because the first guy spelled the address as Limmerick. As if the guys in UPS Shannon wouldnt have known it was Limerick.

    When I rang the second time on a Monday afternoon the phone was collected Tuesday morning and I had the replacement back on Friday morning.

    Yep I rang apple who put me through to UPS who told me that apple hadn't sent them an RS number (dunno what that is...) so they advised me to just make a new service request with apple tomorrow. Very annoying as I spent two days sitting at home waiting for them to come!
