Speeding Offence/Ticket

Garda Van on the N3 flashed as I went by it.

Totally didnt see it and I have no idea how much I was over the speed limit.

I have no problem with the upcoming fine and points.

    My Q is:

Will points be put on my UK licence?

Also I have to go back to the UK for work - What happens if the fine comes and I'm not here to sort it?

The car I was driving is registered to me here in Ireland (at my sisters address).

I only use the car here for work - I live most of the time in the UK.

You won't get points on your licence but you'll have to pay the fine. If you don't pay in the time given it increases until it eventually is called to court.

Just get your sister to pay the fine (and inform them that you have a UK licence) when the letter comes and that should be the end of it.
