Where to recycle some household items

    Hi all,

I would like to recycle the following household items if possible. Don't want them to go to landfill but I have no idea where to bring them to:

    - Suitcases: Can you recycle them and where can I bring them to?

    - Used DVDs: Is there a recycling center in Dublin/Wicklow that might take them? Not movie DVDs but data ones.

    - Used clothes/fabric non-reusable: Ballyogan apparently takes them but when I went up there, the fella just told me to toss them into the cargo of clothes going to a charity?! Is there somewhere that I can take them to really?

    - And lastly, can I recycle helium bulbs with ordinary light bulbs?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We are having a bit of spring cleaning. Really don't want to just dump everything in the skip.

you could put the suitcases up on jumbletown or another freebie website, somebody might find a need for them. the clothes/fabric as well probably, or if you are crafty in anyway could make rag rugs?? use them in some way like that??
