Trying to get something metal goin in dublin, not havin luck atall.

Check out the links in my sig for Last Fm, Myspace tracks i randomly record.

Im 25, Guitar and Vocals in dublin.

Influenced by everything and listen to everything so I'm open minded and just want to play fun heavy stuff, throw in some melody maybe, who knows.
    normally around the hardcore/metalcore area..

    Some Influences:

Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, Sleeping Giant, Hatebreed, Terror, After The Burial, Architects, Divine Heresy, Vision of Disorder, Stampin Ground, Gojira, Pro-Pain, TUI, The Ghost Inside, Sworn Enemy, Despised Icon, Deftones, Four Years Strong, Madball, Merauder... on and on and everything and anything...

    Anyone welcome, especially drummers....

Casual Jamming, or something serious, whatever.

    Give us a shout here...

im trying to start a project mainly just to get music made in general that you might be interested in.

The idea is that each musician has to be able to record their own instruments/vocals or get someone who can do it for them though. Its a studio only project though for now.

Im still sorting out the basics for it though but basically it means that musicians anywhere can contribute to it.

    Maybe check out this guy:

He seems to be into some 80's metal stuff like Maiden and Helloween but also In Flames and Children of Bodom so that's not far from Swron Enemy, Stamping Ground and As I Lay Dying. Them's all deathcore/melodic death metal. Hope ya get enough to put a band together. I had the same problem finding fellow metal musicians in Galway until recently.

I'm playing in a metal band. We've found a bunch of bands and we're getting some gigs going. Apparently there are enough people to make a scene.

We're playing the Pint on the quays on Oct 1. Pop down, you might be able to find some likeminded souls. The rest of the guys in my band are into a lot of the same stuff as yourself.
