Both for me. I loved Medal Of Honour games and I'm delighted to see a new title. Both do look good so I'll be getting both no doubt.

I'm just hoping that single player mode won't be too short in either as most of these type of games seem to be more multiplayer focused which annoys me greatly.

Don't get me wrong, I love playing online but I want a good single player campaign.

Both for me but I may get rid of moh against a new release after a month or two depending on how the multiplayer pans out.

They're war based fps's, how different could they be? unless theres a kitten firing grenade launcher that licks people to death in one of them.

    It sure does!

I'm not sure if I'll buy either, depends on what else is released around that time. I've a feeling Fable III and Fallout: New Vegas will be dominating my game-time this winter...and LBP2 etc. They're far down on my list of games to play over the next few months anyway.

If I do pick one up it'll probably by MoH. Though I may succumb to hype and end up buying both. I (and my wallet) hope that's not the case though.

No doubt both will be day one purchases for me.

ill def be getting both, wanna try moh is like to be honest, agree with one poster mw2 gone so stale so i only play with friends, i have been going back to cod 4 ,and it was very refreshing to play, no killstreaks no noobs etc

I don't think I'll get either. I wasn't too keen the basics I saw in the MOH beta and it's going to take a lot to get me back into the COD franchise (I do like the look of the points system in Black Ops though). It's all about the online play for me.

The Battlefield Vietnam expansion will hopefully be out around the same time, so that'll keep me going.

You can't base you opinions around a beta, as it is was just a beta!

Black ops looks great? Of course it looks great it's the same bloody thing you've been playing for the last 4 years expect with a bloody exploding remote control car thrown in to make it even more absurd.

Call Of Duty has pretty much dominated the FPS genre since games have been available on current generation consoles.

AFAIK this will be the first MOH to land on the current gen consoles.

I loved MOH Frontline/Rising Sun on the PS2 but it's been pretty unheard of since COD appeared seemingly dominating all in its path in terms of online play and sheer popularity.

It'll be interesting to see how the game does and how it's received.

Could be an interesting debate between which one is better. A bit like the FIFA V PES squabble. :)

Wasn't there Medal of Honor: Airborne in the last couple of years? It got pretty much terrible reviews across the board so I imagine EA would actually be happy if we forgot it existed!

Also Dice(bad company 2) are in charge of making the multiplayer in Medal of Honour so can't wait for that, here is a vid released only last week...http://www.gametrailers.com/video/fallen-angel-medal-of/703708

looks like DIce are concentrating on this multiplayer til it comes out in a month then shortly after we shall have Bad company Vietnam(4 Maps only though)

Was considering pre-ordering the limited edition of MOH for the few extras you'll get but I noticed a couple of differences between the description on the HMV website and the one on the GAME website. In GAMEs description there's no mention of the Chris Ryan Book or Medal of Honor Frontline HD. Similarily in HMVs description there's no mention of the M60, "Early Tier 1 Access" or the "Spec Ops Class Camouflage".

Anyone know if the various different stores will offer slightly different packages or am I just reading too much into it?? As I'd probably go for the GAME version if I had to choose.

i pre-booked mine in gamestop. as long as it comes with frontline HD i dont really care wat else i get.

Will probably rent the two. I want a decent single player mode that has a bit of length. Will give online on both a shot too but it's the SP I want more.

You liked Rising Sun????????????? That was the worst MOH ever, no question. I loved Frontline and played it to death on my old PS2 and I placed my order for Rising Sun months in advance but when I eventually played it, it was so fecking bad that I just couldn't bear to keep it in my collection after I struggled to finish it. Terrible graphics, terrible gameplay. Nearly killed off the MOH franchise which up to then was THE fps. The only good thing Rising Sun did was convince me to get a pc so I could play COD when it first came out. That was the start of my love affair with the COD franchise, although it too has had its turkeys with COD 3 being forgettable and WAW being meh (but that was after you compared it with COD4 which was a giant leap forward in the fps genre and a welcome break from WW2).

I'll buy Black Ops and "think" about getting MOH as a christmas pressie from someone.
