Look your at a restaurant and you order your steak. Waitress says would you like Mash and Veg or chips and salad. What do you select?

Why would anybody have something as tasleless and unfilling as salad with something as devinely delicios as chips? Chips are lovely, salads are for rabbits only

Who runs this restaurant? I don't think I'd eat there again if they weren't prepared to be flexible on their side orders...

CHips and salad. Mash is too easy to mess up, and veggies always seem to be overcooked (I assume we're talking about carvery food). Chips tend to be a pretty safe bet, and a fresh salad is very refreshing and yummy.

Off topic, but mash is greatly underappreciated in this country/everywhere. I'm sick of getting like two tiny balls of mash (it's hardly expensive is it ).

I want it to be a good 50%+ of my dinner :mad:.

Yeah the more the better. I love a mound of mash, i nearly enjoy it more than the accompanying meat item.

While we are off topic there's nothing worse than when you get a bit of mash and what do you find inside of it only a big lump. Hate it, i hate it with a passion when that happens. The mother is a terror for not mashing properly.
