Theres a friend of a friend who is doing this, claiming for rent allowance when living at home (has a rent book) and getting a dog license for 10e but can then receive 12e a week to feed the dog. Note he doesnt have a dog. This is probably the tip of the iceberg, guy has never had a job since school and no reaosn wy he shouldnt.

This sucks major balls. Im considering reporting this though its probably gonna be obv I reported it.

Anyone got any opinions on this? Just wanted to rant mostly here. Ive been abit sick of this guy for awhile.

yeah do what Balagan said and let it go. Live your own life and don't be bitter about other people. You will be much happier.

I believe he said report it, THEN let it go. The OP's friend is stealing from every single person who works an honest job and pays their taxes. I don't work 5 11 hour days a week so this lazy bastard can sit on his hole all day playing with his imaginary dog.

That's what I said also. Don't try to start anything now. I also work 60 hour weeks but don't intend or think about every state fraudsters out there. Report and move on. Because he said "Ive been abit sick of this guy for awhile" , I said move on and live his own life and don't be worrying about stuff like that.

Just telling it how it is, not getting agro with anyone only those who steal. Your post read more like you were telling the OP to just forget it and mind his own bees wax. I'm glad you agree though that the op should report his robbin' lazy ass.

granted im not sure if such a thing exists. also its fairly easy to falsify a rent book i would say.

There is no payment to feed your dog - you can get assistance to get your dog neutered however.
Falsifying a rent book couldn't get you rent allowance. The CWO inspects your residence to ensure it meets standards.
