Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just moved out to Rahoon lately, and i'm very confused about the bus system. Does anyone know if buses go to NUIG? And if i want to go into the city center which side of the road do i stand on? Are the buses reliable? Thanks

I mostly use the Bus Eireann buses, not the red ones, so these answers apply to Bus Eireann:

Yeah all the Rahoon buses pass NUIG on the way to the city centre.

You can stand on either side of the road, they turn at the roundabout past Dúnaras. I usually choose one of the bus stops with a shelter.

They are fairly reliable but you would want to be 5-7 minutes early because they don't usually wait until the scheduled time.

i think it's 5W that heads out towards Rahoon.
    check out http://www.galwaytransport.info/2009/07/city-bus-services.html

there's a different bus (i think 4x5w) for sundays and in the evenings.
