Marathon Plan - Interrupted...

    Bit of advice please...

Im following the HH Advance Marathon Plan1 at the moment. Unfortunately got a bad cold last week and missed running Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat. I did managed to struggle out a 16 mile LSR yesterday.

Next week is a step down week on that plan, but given i did not complete this weeks mileage (down 25miles), should I instead move what i should have done this week to next week instead???

If I do that that, Im probably going to suffer in the Half on Saturday 18th, but my ultimate Goal for this year is a decent PB in DCM10...

I'd stick to the plan, take the step-back week. It'll also give you the chance to fully recover. You'll soon be back on track.

Be careful if your chest is dodgy. You need to make sure you've fully recovered from anything chest related before doing hard sessions. Risk of long term damage isn't worth it.

+1 I'd take it very very easy if it was in the chest.
