VRT on extras

    Now that the NCT are inspecting every car before they are registered how do they caculate the extra vrt due to extras.

    For example I was looking at a 2004 MINI Cooper S that had sat nav, leather seats, climate control, multi function steering wheel etc. how much extra would they be charging over the basic model?

    On the revenue website it says the vrt due is around 2300 but how much would this rise after inspected?

    Zilch. They only charge for extras up to 4 years old.
