    Hey there,

Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the gents page, but need some impartial advice....from guys or girls.

With a guy for the last year, get on great, have loads of fun, been away together and everything.
Told him I loved him about 6 months in, not to hear it back, just cos I felt it and wanted to say it. He said he wasn't sure and didn't want to say it for the sake of it.
Now he still doesn't know after a year if he loves me or not...he thinks there should be "something extra" ... We broke up for a while and I was heart broken, said we'd give it another try and see how we go, but this is still at the back of me mind.
(probably didn't help that I went to 2 fortune tellers during this time - one told me I would end my days with him and the other said he wasn't "the one", that there was someone out there who would love me as much as I love them..)
Don't know what to do...this is always at the back of my mind ( before the break up I had thought he was the one) , but the thought of being without him is unbearable.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated, driving myself crazy :(.

From a normally rational 30 yr old.

If he doesn't love you after a year, I'm sorry, but it's time to say goodbye.

Op, I think you deserve better. As RacoonQueen has said if he can't decide after a year then you deserve to find someone who will.

    I agree with the above
You are both still in the honeymoon period, if he hasn't said it by now its probable he never will.
Saying that sometimes people don't realise what they've got till its gone, so maybe having a break from each other may help him see the light.

If the only thing wrong is that he hasn't actually said it to you, but everything he does is in a loving way, as in he is affectionate to you treats you with respect and enjoys your company then don't give up hope yet.

I would tend to look at his parents. If its something he wouldn't have seen on a regular basis at home. From my experience anyway how to say I love you can be hard or embarassing if your not used to seeing it or hearing it regularly.

And listen its not the end of the world either, if this one doesn't work out there are tons of men out there that it will work out with.

    Good luck

Yes, have to agree with the others after a year, if he doesn't know he loves you then time to leave him.

With regard to the 'Fortune' tellers they are full of crap, I'm sorry to say, awful swindle merchants.

Maybe with a break he might realise his true feelings for you, thing is you cannot bank on that.
