You have to be registered to view results, if you are unable to register then you will not be able to see any results atall afaik.

What comp do you want the results for? Might be able to copy and paste for you??? You could try and register on another club that is registered... don't know if it will work but what harm to try??

Maybe you know someone who is a member of another club that is on it and has no interest in registering with Howdidido as they probably get results on the club website etc, register on their behalf with their details that ya need so ya can see results of other clubs.
My club is not on it but used my Da's details to register and see results of open competitions i play in.

Thanks a million lads, That was some back 9 by the lad who came 1st (4 under). I'm actually glad he beat me on countback. Dont get me wrong I am one of the most competitive people you are ever likely to meet and love winning, But I think when there is a draw in Stableford comps, the winner should be the best gross score, rather than back 9.

Another question on Howdidido, didn't want to start another thread.

I got a notification last week of a cut of .1 from howdidido but nothing is showing up on Golfnet, is this because wherever I got the cut hasn't uploaded?

Jesus what a brilliant site. You can be a golf stalker on it checking all the relatives handicaps haha :p

Bit depressing looking at my own scores though. :(

my club isn't on it either, hard to understand since it's free and a very good service by all accounts.

wonder should i mention it to someone at the club.

i can check my handicap on golfnet.ie but it has very limited information.

I think your club needs to be using the CLUB2000 CONGU Golf Handicapping Software. howdidido is free to those clubs who use that software as far as I know.

    Lads,

Whats story with Howdidido.. sat and sunday comps from my club on not up.... is it down to a guy in the club literally pressing a button?? They are usually up at 9.30 the evening of a competition... bit of a pain not knowing results....

Results from other clubs being put up - it's someone not pushing a button I am afraid.

Probably due to your Competition Secretary being out for a few pints last night instead of doing his work I'm afraid.

If your club is on HowdidIdo when the competition is closed you are given an option to send results to HowdidIdo and they go up straight away.

My own club use howdidido so I can see the list of clubs on it. Plenty of my local clubs not on there.

What are the other sites that clubs use to list results?

There's no other site that directly pulls the updated results of competitions. Golfnet is the main handicap site, but that just shows you your score, not the competition results.

Clubs in general usually post results on their own site and notice board, and maybe publish the results in the Irish Times results pages.

But in terms of a site that's a central location for most club results, there's no alternative to HowDidIDo.

Ok thanks. I find it very interesting to see the full results & see how you did in comparison to others. Surprised some clubs don't use this type of facility

    Can a Society input scores?

No, but you must notify your home club. All clubs are supposed to have a sheet on the noticeboard, that you personally fill in with scores that are not covered by golfnet i.e. society scores and fourball, classics, etc.
