Kinda depends on how close you are to the staff. Were you brought in as manager or promoted from within? What's your budget limit?
    - photo frame/candle (TK Maxx have nice selection usually for under E10)
    - what kind of wine do they like? Buy a nice bottle of their fave type
    - do they like to read? book token (not as bad as you think. As an avid book reader, these are always appreciated!) :D
    - suggest Kris Kringle. having a night out for Christmas? Swapping the pressies over alcohol is always fun! ;)

You could just do one big pressie for the group. Or you could organise a night out at bowling alley/cinema or something & either pay for tickets or grub?

I buy a lot of my gifts from www.thinkgeek.com

They have loads of cool stuff, and it being a US shop it's quite cheap!

For example, I love the interactive t-shirts: http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts-apparel/interactive/

Last year we did secret santa so everybody got a present. We also went for dinner and i paid towards dinner for everybody so they only had a small amount left to pay for their dinner. A lot of restaurants will have set menus for Christmas and they are usually good value.
