    Hi. Heading for a long weekend in mid Octiber for a long weekend. Any suggestions for restaurants. Maybe Indian/ Thai/ Mexican as one of those going is vegan and that type of restaurant tends to cater for vegans better. Any advice greatfully accepted:)

    I'm heading to Edinburgh this weekend and have booked a couple of restaurants - lots of recommendations on www.toptable.com, aswell as tripadvisor.ie. We booked Howies on Victoria St and Cafe Andaluz. I've jotted down names of some Indian restaurants people have give good reviews of so might check some of these out aswell. Can't wait :D

    GUSTO on George Street ( parallell to Princes St) is always a favourite of mine. It gets busy so book ahead. You can do this on their website and get email confirmation. It's an Italian restaurant though, not Indian.
