Rimmel Recover Foundation

    Hi there,

    I recently [this week!] went to get a new bottle of this foundation in Porcelain [shade 101] usually stocked in Boots. But i've tried 4 different Boots, and a host of other Rimmel stockists, and there is no sign of Recover foundation. I've checked the Rimmel website and it's still appearing as a current product.

    So basically i'm looking for any info/advise/sightings of this foundation, i'm not ready to try a new one at the moment!!

    I saw it in Boots Liffey Valley about 6 or 7 weeks ago, didn't look as if there was any less of it than other foundations, or is it really recent that it's dissapearing? I found it to be a great foundation but too glittery sadly, any other Rimmel foundations appeal to you?

    yeh, i'll keep trying various chemists i suppose, i think Rimmel have just brought a few new foundations and meybe they;'re pushing them instead.

    It is a bit glittery alright ;) But i like it as it's really light and doesn't feel like you've too much on.

    i actually just bought some on Ebay. Apocalyptic stock pile here i come!

    I suppose i'll have to woman-up and try some new ones, but it's really hard to get an idea when i'm afraid of the germs in the samples in the shops!!!! Also, they don't seem to have a 'replacement' in their new products, i.e. a very light cover foundation. I've tried a couple of their other ones and they are Gloop-a-rama!

    OP - bourgois do one that I found kind of similar - its called 10 hours sleep. I like it a lot. I just spent 43euro on Armani Luminous Silk and I think I prefer the bourgois one.

    Another good light one is Mac 'face & body'.

    thanks for that, I do need to branch out and try some new ones, i'll start with the above recommend, thanks!

    So i found some! I went to Boots in Dundrum Shopping Centre today, and they had it. So i bought their remaining 2 bottles in my colour, and i've ordered 2 on-line. The hoarding has commenced! So if any Dublin based people are looking they have i think the 5 main shades. i think they're used to be 7 or 8, but now its 5.
