Octavia VRS 2.0TFSi. 200bhp from the factory, and should be easy to map up to 220/230bhp.

Other than that, the Impreza might not be a bad option, what about a Forrester STi?

T4 or T5 volvo estate, preferable the AWD (4wd versions). Very, "respectable" cars and don't draw undue attention, but are VERY fast. I had a lovely V70 T5 AWD for a while, it was fantastic

    Nissan Stagea ;)
Top end models come with 248bhp 4wd and if you know these 2.5 turbo engines from the skylines you will know they are VERY tunable ;)

i would have said the t4-t5 aswell but conrad beat me to it, i would love one of these as a daily driver.

or one of the Japanese conversions(can be easily gotten at auction)

Or even the V70r from 2003 on. 2.5L 300hp 4wd and active chassis settings. I know a guy who has one, very subtle but sporty.

Those were the first two that sprung to mind, I'd take either with a D reg plate, and extra stubby aerials for added Lane Clearing abilities :D:D
