    Hi im currently looking into buying a peugeot 106 gti, just wondering is they any mechanical problems associated with them?thanks

    Rear Axle, prone to giving up.
    Expensive to fix if it hasn't been looked after. Whatever one you're looking to buy should have had this looked at at some point, so look for evidence.


    Apart from that..same as any car of their age I suppose, sensors prone to going.
    Head Gasket went on mine..Replaced more sensors than I knew the car had..

    Mine was a headache to be honest but bloody hell, fun fun car.
    I'm sure there's some great ones out there, I just got a lemon :P
