    Hi
I turned on my laptop last night and an alarm was ringing with writing on the screen:

    WINDOWS RESUME LOADER

The last attempt to resume the system from its previous location failed. Attempt to resume again?
(Use the arrow keys to highlight your choice)
    Continue with system resume
Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu.

The latter one is highlighted but none of the keys work!!!!
so I cant do anything with it.

I have been having trouble with this since i bought it 2 yrs ago, fan is very noisy and it over heats and recently it has died on me a good few times while i have been using it for no apparant reason.

    It's a Dell Inspiron 1525
Any joy in fixing it? and could anyone recommend a place where i could get it fixed.

    Cheers

well, can be few possible things here:
try to reseat ram modules or (if you have two installed take one out, try to boot system, do the same with second one),
clean heatsink and fan from dust (faulty fan causing system overheat)
    it may help
