I learnt a bit of tourist Greek for when I was going to run the Athens marathon in 2003 and 2004. I can still read it, but I'd say I've probably forgotten how to translate most of it by now.

I can sing the Greek equivalent of "Old McDonald had a farm" if that's any good to you. All together now:

"Otan tha pao, Kyra mou sto bazari,
    Tha s'agoraso ena kokoraki"....

    Why do you ask?

Are you entering the Spartathlon Ultra, Ultraman1?
    http://www.spartathlon.gr/main.php
It's only 246 KM long - between Athens and Sparta.
