Ok, I've tried emailing the faculties, I've tried asking classmates, and scouring the faculty websites on NUIG. I start 2nd year lectures on Mon and I have zero info on my timetable.
I can't get the time off work for lectures until I have my timetable, and I can't register yet to get any course info - how the hell am I supposed to find out where/when I have classes?

we're all in the same boat apparently. emailed Cora during the week, but she's been unusually quiet (she usually answers her emails quick enough). only one i've got any info on is maths physics and that's cos the lecturer emailed me.
i've looked through the NUIG site as well, but the timetables are either last year's ones or are broken links that don't work.
i know when we have our lectures but not where - http://www.nuigalway.ie/science/registration.html (scroll down to 2nd year and the pdfs. there's a timetable near the end of them but no venues)
    what subjects are you doing?

I can't make much head nor tail of that timetable, and I'm not sure it's still accurate. Regardless, it's no help to me of I don't know where any lectures are or which practical slot/class I'm in!
    I'm doing Statistics, EOS210 & EOS213 & Zoology.

    Zoology (ZO201):
    Monday 11-12
    Tuesday 9-10
    Wednesday 9-10
    Thursday 11-1/4-6 (Practical)
    Friday 2-3

    Statistics (ST299):
    Monday 4-5
    Tuesday 4-5
    Wednesday 12-1

    EOS213:
    Monday 1-2
    Tuesday 1-2 (Lecture) 3-6 (Practical)
    Wednesday 5-6
    Thursday 5-6
    Friday 3-6 (Practical)

can't see any module EOS210. is that the correct course code?

Good call, daniel. Zoology has a 20% pass rate after all - you probably shouldn't bother going to any of the other lectures either.

Yeah I think EOS219 is a typo of 210. Still no idea where to go though :(

Sh*t, in till 5 mon 4 days in till 6. Could lose my job over that. Then no uni at all :( Although Martin White got back to me and didn't mention a thurs lecture, i think the EOS timetable changed, prob means I'll get landed with the 4-6 Zoo prac tho.
Either that or I'll have to skip more lectures than is healthy.

I found my introductory lectures there, plus the timetables. Unfortunately couldn't see a venue for the zoology one. =(

    http://www.nuigalway.ie/science/departments.html

If you go into whatever school you're in there they seem to have updated recently with the dates & times of the introductory lectures.

If you go in on Monday and go to each of your subject departments they will have details of your introductory lectures on the notice boards, don't expect Cora to reply, timetabling has nothing to do with the college of science, its down to each individual dept. Zoology is in the MRI annex at the entrance to the uni across from wards, lectures are held in there (well they were back in my day!)

From that link looks like it's still the Annex, and my intro lecture is on the 8th.
I got the intro to EOS213 from one of the faculty, and the venue for another so hopefully that's another.

No info for the other EOS module or Stats so I'll try and get a mooch about the depts for the info. Doubt the job will be pleased with the info :(
They're fairly lackadaisical & last minute with this info ffs :pac:
